That frustration became the catalyst. Founder Tracy Meyer had spent decades working across leadership, learning, and behavioural psychology - she observed: personality alone doesn't explain alignment, energy, or fulfilment.

Founder & Innovator, Managing Director
Tracy innovated Bright Core Drivers® because her clients kept asking for something better. Not another personality test, not another framework that looked good in a workshop and got forgotten by Monday. They wanted something that actually explained why people show up the way they do at work, what energises them, and what quietly drains them.
That question has driven everything she has built. With decades of experience working across leadership, culture, and performance in high-growth businesses and global corporates, Tracy developed the Bright Core Drivers® framework from the ground up, rooted in behavioural people science and positive psychology, and designed to create real psychological safety and genuine fulfilment at work.
She spent five years lecturing on business and marketing at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Business School and holds international accreditation as a City & Guilds Assessor and Moderator, as well as accreditation as an Emotional Intelligence practitioner. She has also served as a strategic Board Member for Business North Harbour. The academic grounding matters to her, but so does making sure the work actually lands in the real world.
Tracy also founded Cognaflex, a leadership simulator currently in development that uses gaming and virtual reality to bring a completely new approach to learning and assessment. It is the kind of thing that did not exist before because no one had built it yet.

Technical Co-Founder
Andre is the technical visionary behind Bright Core Drivers®, bringing a unique blend of technical depth and creative innovation to the platform. André built Bright Core Drivers® from first principles. The entire SaaS platform, The platform is securely hosted in a top tier cloud provider which means enterprise and government clients can access it at scale. His expertise spans enterprise system architecture, cybersecurity, API integration, and data visualisation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and currently leads product evolution across use cases from recruitment to retention, including the development of Ricky, our conversational AI coach.
He is known for his calm approach, especially when the team is under pressure. His brain never stops and he is quietly brilliant.
Low-key obsessed with podcasts and genuinely inspired by innovation, André keeps his finger on the pulse across cybersecurity and user-driven design, and it shows in everything he builds.
He leaps in to support clients with the ease of an experienced juggler, and takes real care to make sure enterprise onboarding is smooth and that clients feel well looked after from day one through the full partnership journey with Bright Core Drivers®.

Chief Commercial Officer
Simon joined Bright Core Drivers® because the vision resonated with him immediately. There is a genuine alignment on where this is heading and what it takes to get there at scale, and that shared clarity is what makes the partnership work.
Before joining the team, Simon served as Head of Partnerships at Ministry of Awesome, Aotearoa's largest government-backed startup support provider, where he led the national rollout of Startup Aotearoa and built partnerships across every region in the country. Before that, as co-founder and Head of Human Resources at Gastronomy Australia Pty Ltd, he helped grow the organisation from 20 to 200 people while securing major corporate and institutional clients. He knows what it takes to build something from the ground up and what it takes to scale it.
At Bright Core Drivers®, Simon leads commercial strategy, developing partnership pipelines across enterprise and government sectors and positioning our assessment and simulation products for scalable adoption. He holds a degree in Human Resources and is certified by Pavilion in AI-Augmented Go-To-Market strategy.
What you notice quickly about Simon is that he can hold a lot at once. Visionary one minute, deep in the detail the next, and always coming out the other side with solutions. A bit of an octopus in the best possible way.

Fractional Software Engineer
Toby is a software engineer and game developer with close to a decade of experience building in C++ and C#, working across Beyond Studios and Gladstone Games. His work spans game design, system architecture, and cloud computing, with a consistent focus on making complex systems feel intuitive to the people using them.
At Bright Core Drivers®, Toby contributes to the core platform and Brighter Culture Mapping systems, working closely with André, who mentors him as a software developer. He brings a natural curiosity to the work and a perspective that is genuinely his own, something the team values.
He will soon be immersed in Cognaflex, Tracy's innovation, founded on her determination to break with traditional learning and assessment and create a gamified, interactive experience that changes how leadership development is delivered.
Alongside his work in industry, Toby is a Professional Teaching Fellow at The University of Auckland, where he teaches Cloud Computing Architecture. His background in education gives him a strong technical grounding that informs how he builds and thinks about systems.
