Bright Core Drivers® began with a spark — one that came directly from our clients.
"How is it possible that all 10 of my engineers came out as the same "personality type", but I notice that they are motivated in such different ways and also differ in their approach to solving problems? That's just a label. So what? I need to know what matters to them — what drives them — not just what box they fit in."
That frustration became the catalyst. Founder Tracy Meyer had spent decades working across leadership, learning, and behavioural psychology — and she knew instinctively: personality alone doesn't explain alignment, energy, or fulfilment.
Bright Core Drivers® was created to answer a deeper question: What really fuels people at work?

Now we're evolving even further with Ricky — our AI-powered insight companion that brings human understanding to life in real time, one conversation at a time.

Founder & Innovator, Managing Director
Tracy is the visionary founder behind Bright Core Drivers® — a groundbreaking framework sparked by what clients were truly asking for: something modern, human, and grounded in positive psychology. She brings a uniquely integrated lens to leadership, culture, and performance, shaped by decades of hands-on experience and strategic insight.
Tracy has worked with global corporates, high-growth businesses, and mission-led organisations across industries including media, retail, automotive, FMCG, and government. Her insight-led strategies blend commercial clarity with deep human understanding.
Driven by innovation and purpose, she pioneered Bright Core Drivers® to create psychologically safer workplaces while lifting productivity and fulfilment. Her work transforms the way leaders and teams connect, thrive, and grow.
Andre Groen
Technical Co-Founder
Andre is the technical visionary behind Bright Core Drivers®. As co-founder and principal architect, he single-handedly built the original SaaS platform, laying the foundation for a scalable, secure, and deeply human-centred product. With a Master of Science and a background in system architecture, Andre brings a rare blend of technical depth and creative innovation.
His commitment to continuous growth has seen the platform evolve to include API integration, advanced data visualisation, and now the development of our own AI agent, Ricky — a conversational coach designed to bring insights to life in real time. Andre's calm brilliance and relentless focus on user-driven design make him an invaluable force in both the product and the partnership journey of Bright Core Drivers®.
David Steytler
Commercial Partner
David Steytler is our Commercial Partner who has been instrumental in providing commercial strategy since 2016. He has been an early-stage collaborator, opening doors for channel partnerships for the Bright Core Drivers, including with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations.
With a rich background spanning over two decades, he has guided businesses both locally and internationally to thrive and grow. Uniquely his expertise lies across both growth strategy and legal advisory, where he excels at helping businesses leverage their intellectual property to achieve breakthroughs that ultimately change lives.
David champions a purpose and people-centric approach to collaboration, commercial partnerships, and importantly, the end-customer experience.

Meet Karen Stent — Senior Associate & Accredited Bright Core Drivers® Practitioner Karen Stent is a Senior Associate and Accredited Bright Core Drivers® Practitioner who supports clients through executive coaching, consulting, and training. She brings deep experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development, with a reputation for being empathetic, kind, and practical. Karen creates a safe space for growth, helping teams strengthen communication, build confidence, and apply the Bright Core Drivers® insights in real and meaningful ways.
Chalith Hewage
Front-End Developer Intern
Chalith is currently supporting Bright Core Drivers® in front-end development, contributing to interface design and user experience as we continue to evolve our platform. With strong technical skills and a passion for innovation, Chalith is also preparing to expand into AI development, where he will be mentored by our Co-Founder and Technical Lead, Andre. His work reflects a keen eye for detail, adaptability, and a commitment to learning — all qualities that align with the Bright Core Drivers® ethos.

Meet Ricky — Your Bright AI Agent Ricky is Bright Core Drivers’® AI Agent and an integral part of the Bright team. She’s been trained in the full Bright Core Drivers® Framework, enabling her to support enterprise clients with instant insights on role and culture fit. Ricky also provides executive coaching support for leaders, helping them interpret their results, strengthen team alignment, and make better people decisions.
Highly skilled in crafting job adverts aligned to Bright Core Drivers, Ricky has achieved up to 191% better alignment and more applicants for our clients. She can also generate job descriptions and interview questions for any role using the S.T.A.R. method, helping leaders identify and attract top talent with precision and confidence.
Warren Kitchin
